Deep Cleaning Your Home

If you love to clean and need a few tips for deep cleaning your home, check our suggestions below. Don’t forget to use non-toxic cleaning products for a child and pet-friendly home.

Pre-Clean Your Home

Before you dig in and start cleaning, take the time to pre-clean or pick up any clutter and put things away. The pre-clean step is not a required step, but it will help your cleaning go much faster. Since you have to pick up the clutter, doing it first helps your cleaning be more efficient rather than picking up as you clean.

If you are going to deep clean your home in phases rather than all in one day, we recommend picking up the clutter in the rooms you are deep cleaning and putting them in their place. If you are all in for a full day of deep cleaning, go through each room before you get down to the nitty-gritty, pick up the clutter everywhere, and put it back in its rightful place. Be sure to wash the dishes and put them away before you start as well because cleaning the sinks and dishwasher is part of deep cleaning.
